Iceland’s Blue Lagoon

Iceland's Blue Lagoon

Do you want to be part of a different experience that is relaxing and prodigious at the same time? Iceland’s Blue Lagoon might just be something for you.

This geothermal man-made spa is located 40 minutes from the capital Reykjavik. It is nearby the geothermal power plant Svartsengi and the lagoon is fed by the water from this. It is renewed every second day.

The blue lagoon is a beautiful place, and it has a very relaxing atmosphere and majestic surroundings. The spa says to be good for your skin, and for different skin diseases, especially psoriasis since the water consists of different minerals such as sulphur and silicia. Spa lover or not, I recommend one to go there during a visit to Iceland, and since the water in the lagoon is approximately 36-39 °C, no excuses; one can´t blame cold water or the weather for being bad, because one will definitely not be cold anyway. Just dive in!
